What is included in the costs of the Summer School?
- Tuition fees for one or both courses. If there are students interested in the option of taking only one of the two courses, it will be considered, but priority will be given to students taking the whole program.
- Costs of academic visits and cultural and social events included in the Program.
What is NOT included in the costs of the Summer School?
- The non-refundable application fee, which you pay separately when submitting the application.
- Travel between your residence and Madrid.
- Visa (if you need to apply for one).
- Medical, accident and any other type of insurance.
- Accommodation.
- Food (except if food is provided by the Summer School for some events).
- Local transportation.
Although costs do not include housing, we provide information on finding housing and negotiate discounts, when available, for interested students. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Since we do not provide or manage accommodation, if you are a minor living in other regions of Spain or abroad and intend to apply to PreUni you should be prepared to travel with a parent or guardian and arrange your own accommodation or make similar arrangements.
Discounts
You can enjoy two types of discounts:
Early-bird discount
Who can benefit? Students who complete their application within the early-bird discount period (until February 28, 2024). Applications are complete when the application form is submitted, and we receive all required documents. Please refer to the application page for details.
How much is the discount? 200 euros if you enroll in two courses and 150 euros if you enroll in only one course.
Partner discount
Who can benefit?
- Students from any school (“Instituto de Educación Secundaria”, “Colegio”, etc.) that actively promotes SpaCIE Pre-University Summer School to its students (presenting information about PreUni on its website, distributing information about the Program by email to parents…). This promotion can be done by the school itself or by its Parents’ Association (AMPA, AFA…). The School or the Parents’ Association must inform us that they are doing this promotion so that we can include them in the list of Partners.
- Students whose families belong to associations or other entities that achieve the Partner status by agreement with SpaCIE, such as the associations to which SpaCIE offers this discount.
How much is the discount? 200 euros if you enroll in two courses and 150 euros if you enroll in only one course.
Total discount
You can accumulate both discounts, if applicable. Therefore, you can enjoy up to 400 euros discount if you enroll in two courses and 300 euros if you enroll in only one course.

Admitted applicants must complete their enrollment by paying these costs by the deadline of:
- 28 days from admission (when we send you the admission confirmation email) if you completed your application during the early-bird discount period.
- 14 days from admission if you completed your application during the ordinary period.
- 2 days from admission if you completed your application during the extraordinary period.
Refund policy: You will ONLY be entitled to a refund of these costs if SpaCIE cancels the Program. Our summer school is face-to-face, but in case of force majeure preventing you from attending the program, and since you would not be entitled to a refund, we will do our best to enable you to follow the program remotely.
